Schedule of Events
During Viking Fest there will be live performances throughout the day, and Saturday night there will be a street dance on Front Street.
Entertainment is performed in the Austin-Kvelstad Pavilion in the waterfront park unless otherwise noted.
Friday – May 16th
- Noon–10:00pm: Food/Craft Booths open on Anderson Parkway
- 4:00–10:00pm: Carnival in King Olaf parking lot
- 4-4:30pm: Viking Fest Opening Ceremony Suquamish Tribe Blessing*, Mayor Becky Erickson Welcome, Norwegian National Anthem by Vestre Sund Norskekor (West Sound Norwegian Chorus), National Anthem by Shawn Perry, Poulsbo Sons of Norway Vikings Torch March, Poulsbo Sons of Norway and other Royalty, Special Thanks to our Volunteers, Closing Songs by Vestre Sund Norskekor.
- 4:45pm: Poulsbo Sons of Norway Leikarringen Dancers – largest Scandinavian/Norwegian youth folk dance group in the country and outside Scandinavia.
- 5:00-7:00pm: Viking Fest Logging Show – Axe throwing & wood carving
- 6:30-8:00pm: Rising Sons – When Electric Goes Acoustic
- 8:15-10:00pm: Sour Mash – Blues Band
